We are passionate about provenance and our cafe menu showcases our fresh, seasonal produce. We serve fresh ground coffee, loose leaf teas, homemade baking, light lunches and daily specials always with a focus on keeping food miles low from farm to fork.
Our Spilmans house coffee blend is supplied by local coffee blenders Roseberry Coffee. Blended from the Arabica bean, this blend is very popular with our customers and we now sell retail bags in the Farmshop to enjoy our coffee at home!
Our loose leaf teas are supplied by Pippa Teas, a local artisan tea mixologist, who specialises in fabulous loose leaf teas. We are currently trying to replicate our own Spilman house blend which was invented by Richard and Sally in their own kitchen an is a mixture of “builders” and Earl Grey tea.
If you prefer a more traditional Yorkshire brew, we have Taylor’s Yorkshire tea and also decaf available.
We always have an amazing selection of homemade baking, and we are very lucky to work with local Sessay mum Libby Ann Bakes. We also bake our own fresh scones every day, as well as home made tarts, crumbles and new inventions !
Our daily specials and light lunches are all prepared fresh in our kitchen every day, using seasonal Spilmans produce as well as other local fresh ingredients. We are committed to keeping food miles low, and so all of our main suppliers are within a 25 miles radius of Sessay.
